"Broadband"

Go on, laugh, you multi-megabyte ADSL first world types...

I recently got a permanent connection installed at home. The ISP, Uninet, use wi-fi to provide a "broadband" connection. The package I chose is 128k, which is roughly equivalent to dual channel ISDN. It's a long, long way from ADSL, but it's quite affordable, it is permanent, and there are no download caps. This kind of download statistic is pretty exciting for us poor internet users in South Africa.
